Reading Groups

The department generally has several reading groups active during the academic year with both faculty and graduate student attendees. Current groups include:
 
Logic and Philosophy of Science Reading Group

We are currently meeting on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. We are working through Neil Dewar's Structure and Equivalence.
 
Social Ontology Reading Group

Ancient Philosophy Reading Group

This is an interdisciplinary reading group for students in History, Classics, Politics and Philosophy. We’re reading Aristotle’s De Anima, book 1. We meet on Fridays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Small Seminar Room.
