Research Abstract

My philosophical interests lie with what is now commonly called 'metaontology'. It is, I believe, the area of study that is at the intersection of metaphysics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of logic. So, not only do I like to ask questions about what sorts of things there are, but also questions about how to communicate the nature of existence itself in a clear and precise way. I'm thoroughly Quinean on the answers. In addition, I like to pretend to know something about Bertrand Russell's theory of descriptions, Bayes Theorem, (analytic) aesthetics, and philosophy of religion (especially Richard Swinburne).
