I work mostly in the fields of metaphysics and epistemology. (Did you spot the joke hidden within the previous sentence? I know. It’s not that funny. But philosophical jokes are like that.) Much of my past work has concerned philosophy of mind and free will. Because I have so many friends that think I’m so wrong about so many things, I’ve recently turned my attention to the fascinating problem of disagreement. And although I’ve done no serious work in the area, philosophy of religion is an old favorite. Particularly the problem of evil and questions involving divine foreknowledge.

I am on fellowship for the 2009-2010 school year and will not be teaching classes or leading discussions.
