Research Abstract

At the moment I am especially intrigued by questions concerning freedom/determinism, transworld identity, theories of truth, the nature of the good, moral realism, moral structuring, Newcomb's Problem, and the role of objectivity in aesthetics.  I also wish to pursue problems in the philosophy of religion, such as the tensions between God's nature and evil, God's foreknowledge and our freedom, and God's freedom and his necessity.  More curiosities include: the role of race in identity and society, textual interpretation, international justice, the nature of philosophy itself, and of course, the meaning of life.   For all these ponderings and the delight carried with them I am particularly indebted to my philosophical heroes  - Robert Nozick, Ludwig Wittgenstein and SoKrates.
