B.Eng. in Engineering Physics, University of Saskatchewan
B.Sc. in Computer Science, University of Saskatchewan
As an undergraduate, I studied the applied sciences with a particular focus on mathematical modeling. I then spent a considerable amount of time doing quantitative research in the field of finance. After much soul searching and the completion of some graduate coursework in philosophy at the University of New Mexico, I became convinced that I should pursue a graduate degree in philosophy.
When not doing philosophy, I like to travel, play music (particularly instruments with 4, 5, 6 or 8 strings), cook, and read literature.
My major research interest in is epistemology, but I also have interests in philosophy of mind (particularly mental causation) and the history of philosophy very broadly conceived.
