Professor Daniel Korman wins Sanders Prize in Metaethics

Congratulations to Professor Daniel Korman and his co-author Professor Dustin Locke (Clarement McKenna College) for winning the 2018 Sanders Prize in Metaethics with their paper “Against Minimalist Responses to Moral Debunking Arguments.”

Congratulations to Professor Aaron Zimmerman for the publication of his new book Belief: A Pragmatic Picture (Oxford University Press).

New hire starting 2019: Patricio A. Fernandez to join faculty

We are delighted to announce that Patricio A. Fernandez will be joining our faculty starting Fall 2019. Fernandez holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Economics from Harvard (2013). He will spend 2018-19 as a Humboldt postdoctoral fellow working in Munich. Fernandez has published in ethics, the philosophy of action, ancient philosophy and the economic analysis of law. He also has interests in the philosophy of economics and the history of ethics.
